1. Road Tax and Fuel
The vehicle owner is responsible for ensuring that the vehicle has valid road tax and sufficient fuel. KrisFix Ltd is not responsible for penalties, clamping or towing charges resulting from untaxed vehicles.

2. Fuel Charge
Vehicles left with insufficient fuel which causes the vehicle to become immobilized will incur a £30 service charge plus the cost of fuel required.

3. Vehicles on Premises
Vehicles may be stored inside or outside the garage premises during repair and may be monitored by CCTV. KrisFix Ltd will not be responsible for any loss or damage not directly caused by our negligence or actions.

4. Diagnostic Work
Vehicle diagnostics are carried out using professional judgement and available testing equipment. Diagnostics identify the most likely visible cause of a fault at the time of inspection. Due to the complexity of modern vehicles, additional faults may become apparent once repairs are carried out.

5. Pre-Existing and Underlying Faults
Vehicle inspections and diagnostics identify the most likely or visible cause of a fault at the time of inspection. Additional or underlying faults may exist which are not immediately visible or detectable during the initial diagnostic process. KrisFix Ltd cannot be held responsible for pre-existing or underlying faults that were not reasonably identifiable during the initial inspection. If additional faults are discovered during or after repair, further work may be required and the customer will be informed of additional costs before continuing where possible. Repairing or replacing a specific component does not guarantee that the original issue will be fully resolved if other underlying faults are present.

6. Estimates
Any verbal or written estimate is provided as a guide only and is not legally binding. Final costs may vary depending on additional faults discovered during the repair process.

7. Deposits
For repairs exceeding £1000 a deposit may be required before work commences.

8. Payment
Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been received.

9. Customer Supplied Parts
KrisFix Ltd provides no warranty on parts supplied by the customer. Labour associated with fitting customer supplied parts is not covered if the part fails.

10. Warranty
KrisFix Ltd provides a 12-month warranty on parts and labour for parts supplied and fitted by us unless otherwise stated. Manufacturer terms and conditions apply.

11. Warranty Assessment
If a warranty claim is suspected the vehicle must be returned to KrisFix Ltd for inspection. The customer will be required to cover labour and any necessary parts while the warranty claim is assessed by the supplier or manufacturer. If the supplier confirms the part is faulty under warranty, the applicable costs will be refunded to the customer.

12. Component Use & Driving Style
Certain components such as clutches, brakes, turbochargers and similar mechanical parts depend on driving style, vehicle load and operating conditions. Failures caused by excessive wear, overheating, aggressive driving, towing or other operating conditions are considered normal wear or misuse and are not covered under warranty unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.

13. Warranty Exclusions

• Normal wear and tear

• Misuse or aggressive driving

• Overheating or mechanical abuse

• Unrelated faults

• Diagnostic work

• Customer supplied parts

• Repairs carried out by other garages without prior approval

14. No Extended Warranty
Any warranty repair or replacement does not extend or restart the original warranty period.

15. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this disclaimer affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
